After eight months of study, input from students, faculty, staff, alumni and coaches and consultation with a graphic design firm, College of Charleston unveiled its new athletics logo Friday:
Citadel wrestling had a great day Friday, when heavyweight Odie Delaney and 141-pounder Ugi Khishignyam both made All-America at the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
Delaney pinned Oregon State’s Chan Hanke on Friday night to clinch a top eight finish, and can place as high as seventh in Saturday’s medal round. Ugi became the first Citadel wrestler to make the semifinals and can place as high as third. They became the second and third wrestlers in school history to make All-America.

No. 5 South Carolina visits The Citadel at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Riley Park. The Gamecocks have won six of the last seven in the series, the Bulldogs’ last win coming on April 12, 2011, a 2-0 Citadel win at Riley Park.
