Citadel promotes Worley to QB coach

The Citadel has promoted offensive assistant Cody Worley to quarterbacks coach, head coach Kevin Higgins said Thursday.
Worley has been a quality control coach for the last two years, and replaces Craig Candeto, who left to become head coach at Division III Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.

How slow should the Bulldogs go?

Citadel coach Chuck Driesell had a lot to say about turnovers after the Bulldogs’ 92-51 loss at Clemson on Tuesday, and rightfully so. The Citadel gave up 44 points off 25 turnovers in that game.

The Citadel is averaging 17.3 turnovers per game, and during its current seven-game skid is giving up 18 per game, with 17 at Georgia Tech, 20 at St. Bonaventure and Gardner-Webb and 24 at UNC Greensboro.
