Cut and paste this link for a great story about this year’s Ice Box Open by Post and Courier reporter David Quick:
Last year’s Ice Box contest was cold, but was still a hit, bringing around 40 competitive surfers to The Washout for what turned into an afternoon of fun, cold surf. By the time the sea-fog had lifted, local surfer Kyle Busey took $1000 for the men’s prize, and Charleston surfer Grace Muckenfuss took home $400 in the women’s open.
