In January, Charleston Crab House will host three “All You Can Eat” charity oyster roasts on consecutive Fridays to support three Charleston area organizations.
The events will occur 6-9 p.m. Jan. 11, 18 and 25 on the deck of the Crab House at Wappoo Creek on James Island. Local clusters of oysters, homemade chili and other fixings will be included.
The event on Jan. 11 will benefit Lowcountry Local First, on Jan. 18, Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, and on Jan. 25, James Island Charter High School Band.
Last year’s events raised more than $12,000 for the charities.
The oyster roasts are open to the public. Other food and drinks are available for purchase.
