The “farm-to-table” concept is now at the mall.
Each Saturday during February and March, Northwoods Mall will offer a “Farm-to-Table” market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Locally made items such as barbecue sauce, honey, jams, jellies, salsas, flavor-infused olive oils and others will be available from specialty vendors.
“We wanted to create an atmosphere where shoppers could go out for their daily shopping at the mall and also to have the opportunity to pick up farmers’ market specialty items without having to be outside in the chilly and sometimes dreary weather,” said Keli Tolley, assistant general manager of Northwoods Mall.
