Garden & Gun magazine wants to know who has the best Southern-made products.
The Charleston-based periodical has opened the entry process for its “Made in the South Awards” with a call out to Southern artisans making products in five categories: Food, Drink, Style & Design, Outdoors and Home.
The magazine’s editors and a panel of expert judges will gather to taste, touch, feel and review the final selections.
One winning entry and several honorable mentions will be chosen in each category and their stories will appear in the December 2013/January 2014 issue of the magazine. In addition to national exposure, each winner will receive a cash prize.
Any Southern artisan or business with a product that will be available through January 2014 may apply.
To enter, go to gardenandgun.com/madeinthesouth. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Aug. 1.
