Coastal Vascular & Vein Center expands

Coastal Vascular & Vein Center recently added 6,000 square feet to its practice at 1327 Ashley River Road in West Ashley.

The offices’ three surgeons, Drs. Edward C. Morrison, Adam J. Keefer and Thomas C. Appleby, offer a wide range of diagnostic and interventional endovascular procedures.

The expansion adds two modern endovascular suites as well as two new vein treatment rooms. The center added high-resolution diagnostic X-ray imaging equipment, which allows surgeons the flexibility to perform numerous kinds of procedures, including access for dialysis, leg-stenting for peripheral arterial disease and long-term IV access.

Prior to the expansion, serious cases involving arterial treatments required hospital care. They can now be performed in the office.

With more than 30 staff members, the practice offers additional facilities in Walterboro and North Charleston.
