GREENSBORO, N.C. — All right, so Tajh Boyd is an aspring singer more so than he is a polished one.
Taking the heat from rival defensive ends? That’s where Boyd’s a seasoned veteran.
Take two, on the video screen here from ACC Media Days, Part Sunday. Forgive the video quality of the singing clip, which was spontaneous upon linebacker Spencey Shuey imploring his quarterback to sing a couple of tunes from Eric Church’s “Springsteen.”
Then, Boyd knows what’s coming first in the line of questioning from reporters. Essentially, the Clemson quarterback and ACC Player of the Year shook off Clowney’s provocative comments last week of seeing fear in opposing quarterbacks’ eyes, including Boyd.
More of a reader, are you? Check out our Clemson page on PostandCourier.com for a trio of stories from Greensboro yesterday. And, of course, we’ll have much more today, when Dabo Sweeney and 13 other ACC coaches take the mic.
