CLEMSON — Nearly every starter returns to the Clemson baseball team in 2014, and they’ll be joined by nine incoming freshmen, including a pair of 2013 Major League draft picks who chose instead to stick with the Tigers.
Head coach Jack Leggett announced the following list of players who have enrolled in classes and will be eligible to suit up next spring. They’re headlined by infielder Eli White, a 26th-rounder to the Reds, and catcher Chris Okey, picked by the Padres in the 31st round.
